We really want to see the festival attract more and more new people to keep this tradition of Bluegrass music alive for the next generation.
That’s a big reason we’ve made LarryFest free for those under age 16 when accompanied by an adult. We offer fun kid events so the entire family can make LarryFest memories!
Kid's Ukulele Raffle
One of Larry's favorite part of LarryFest. Every kid attending LarryFest with their family is eligible to get a FREE raffle ticket to win a ukulele from Larry. The drawing takes place on Saturday. It a crowd pleaser when you see all these kids holding their ticket hoping to have their number drawn and announced on the Main Stage!
Sweet Corn - Saturday
We offer free, fresh sweet corn on Saturday. We cook a whole pick-up load of ears of corn. Dip them in butter and enjoy great tasting sweet corn for free! This goes fast too, so get there right away and enjoy LarryFest with some great tasting sweet corn!
Sawdust Pile
Kids love our Sawdust Piles! They dig through the sawdust and find coin money they can take home. You just don't know what you will find as a hidden treasure in the pile!
LarryFest Custom Wristbands
Kids each year make handmade wristbands they sell to raise money for LarryFest. Get your one-of-a-kind creation from these talented kids and help them raise money for LarrryFest!
Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles
Bubbles have been a mainstay of LarryFest for years! Kids just love them and adults do too. Bubbles of all sizes float around the grounds all weekend long.
Lots of Open Ground to Play on
There is a lot of open fields for kids to play around on. From games, to meeting new friends, and checking out all what nature has to offer. Great environment for families to enjoy the great outdoors!
